Garden

I love to garden and eat. I have learned a great deal over the years but still struggle with certain types of seed germination. I have a plan for this year which involves my worm farm as I have discovered that any rotten fruit or vegetables sprout after a short term in the worm pen. Worse case scenario with this form of germination is feeding worms.

One aspect I would like to focus on this year is to have complimentary systems in place. Good worm dirt for the plants. Worms for fish and chickens. Vegetables for the chickens and worms. Ground egg shells for the worms.

Stay tuned for more information on my garden, the varieties I will be planting and how I do with germination and cultivation.

Took a bit of time to organize my seeds for the garden this year. Will start planning my layout soon.

Also working on getting this years Christmas tree planted.

And what kind of mushrooms are these? My yard has about ten different types of very large mushrooms.

Garden location staked. 45x45. Should have plenty of space to garden this year.

Had a good wet day to burn some branches from the tree pruning. Will be using this potash in my dirt blend.

I have been having a hard time with hardening plants off. Tonight is the last possibility of frost, so we will be re-potting and planting many of these tomorrow.
